Maria Torres Obituary
Maria Elena Torres, born May 1, 1933 to Augustina Pesina, passed away on June 3, 2018 at the age of 85. Maria Elena was a loving person, especially with her grandchildren. She was never one to get mad and was extremely generous with everyone she came across. She enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines, and cooking. Maria Elena always had a kind word to say and she and her smile will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Maria Elena was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador P. Torres, and mother, Augustina Pesina.
Survivors left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Lupita Flores (Benito), Tina T. Drake (the late Dennis Drake), Marcy Harper (the late John Harper), and Maria Elena Aguilar (Luis); sons, Ruben Torres (Mary), George Torres (Carmen), and Salvador Torres, Jr. (Sylvia); 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
