Edward Jules Boenau

Edward J. Boenau, Jr. passed away on July 13, 2019 at the age of 34. He attended Church Unlimited and served in the kid’s ministry. He was full of love and humor and he will be so missed. Heaven gained a very special angel.

He is survived by his wife, Traci Ann Boenau; sons, Alexander, Malaki, Brandon, and Dayton; daughters, Danity and Daviney; father, Edward Jules Boenau, Sr. and step mother, Teresa Renee Peterson; mother, Suzette Nalani Carlson and step father, David Carlson; sister, Sara Carlson; brother, Tyler Boenau and sister-in-law, Alexandra Boenau; grandfather, Adrian K. Bird; niece, Alyssa L. Boenau; brothers-in-law, Derek and Nicholas Dimas; best friends, Chloe and Daniere Lockett; God parents, Laura and Mike Mendez; house pet, Dolly; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port; with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for a rite of committal and interment with full military honors.
