Gerardo "Jerry" Contreras

On March 22, 2018, our beloved brother, Gerardo (Jerry) Contreras, went to be with the Lord at the age of 46. He was born (and raised) in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 18, 1972 to Jose M. Contreras and Maria del Consuelo (Gonzalez) Contreras. He attended Crockett and Chula Vista elementary, Sterling B. Martin Jr. High, and Foy H. Moody High School. He worked as truck driver, loved fishing, music and the company of his many childhood friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Maria del Consuelo.

Gerardo is survived by his father, Jose Sr., brothers, Jose and Eduardo, sisters, Chelo and Zandra, and son Joshua; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Treviño Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word being recited at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

To our son, brother, uncle and friend may your struggles and long suffering be gone. We will keep you in our hearts and memory. We love and miss you. Until we meet again.
