Ricardo "Rico" Reyes

Ricardo “Rico” Reyes, born to Gilberto and Maria R. Reyes Sr., on November 14, 1945 in Alice, TX, passed away on November 26, 2018 at the age of 73. Rico was a loving, giving, and devoted uncle, brother, son, and friend to many. He was a hard worker all his life who truly embraced and celebrated life with family.

Ricardo is proceeded in death by his parents, Gilberto and Maria R. Reyes Sr.; sister, Maria Strotz; brother, Marcos Reyes; sister-in-law, Apolonia Reyes; nephews, Nefi Gonzalez and Gilberto Reyes III; and niece, Antonia Reyes.

Ricardo is survived by his loving sister, Yolanda Gonzalez (Roel); brothers, Gilberto R. Reyes Jr., and Amado Reyes (Dorothy); nieces, Maria J. Reyes-Fischer (Walter), Debbie Arredondo (Jaime), Brenda Silva (Jaime), Lucy Lopez, Linda Arriola (Armando), Krystan Aguilar, and Linda Farias (Alfredo); nephews, Jesus Reyes (Delfina), Roel Gonzalez Jr. (Ashly), Cody Aguilar (Destiny), and Rene Hernandez Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers, Rene Hernandez Jr., Cody Aguilar, Jesus Reyes, Brian Arredondo, Alfredo Farias, and Jaime Arredondo.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St. Alice, TX; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 3:30 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment to be held at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
