Ronnie James Morin

Ronnie James Morin passed away on July 8, 2019 at the young age of 30. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Fishing and making music were his passion. Ronnie will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rodolfo and Elena Sotelo.

Among those left to cherish Ronnie’s memories are his girlfriend, Valerie Treviño; children, Aalyha Morin, Raine Morin, Ronnie James, Jr.; mother, Maria Ysabel Sotelo; sister, Vanessa (A.J. Rodriguez) Morin; nephews, Jordan, Roman, and Ajay; niece, Haylee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2019, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Solid Rock Church, 3025 Ayers St. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honoring him as pall bearers are Joe Coronado, Sean Taylor, AJ Rodriguez, Ricky Solis, Joseph Aleman, and Daniel Soliz; Honorary pall bearers are, Fred Zuniga and Juan Aldeco.
