Sandra S. "Sandy" Chacon

Sandra S. “Sandy” Chacon passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of 69. Sandy was the prime definition of a God fearing independent woman. She was tough as nails and loved harder than anyone could ever imagine.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Chacon; parents, Daniel Sr. and Alicia Gutierrez; brother, Daniel Gutierrez, Jr.; sister, Betty Gutierrez.

Sandy is survived by two incredible daughters Patricia D. Del Toro-Pecero and Bobbi Marie Reyna; 4 grandchildren, Raime Ramirez, III., Rhys Reyna, Cash and Saku Pecero; numerous siblings, nephews and nieces. She leaves behind an everlasting impression of pure love and joy for anyone she's ever come across. She enjoyed living a very active lifestyle. From tending to her yard, fabulous hairdresser, caregiver to many friends and family including making her grandchildren fresh homemade tacos, (anytime of the day or night). She loved to serve as a patron under God's will. As she would say “Everything that should be done today was already done yesterday” a direct quote that describes her tenacity to be on time and stay on time. She will be extremely missed and adored by her family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port, from 5 to 9 in the evening; where a Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, to St. Patrick Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.; Cremation will follow.
