Sidney E. Thomas

Sidney E. Thomas passed away on June 27, 2018 at the age of 79. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp and retired from U.S. Army. Sidney will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Sidney Edward Thomas, Jr; mother, Annabel Worrell; father, Victor Edward Thomas; sister, Dorothy Thomas; brother, Jimmy Collins

Sidney is survived by his daughters, Deborah (James) Johnson and Donna (Rob) Womack; daughter-in-law, Ericka Pena; grandchildren, Breonna Thomas, Mark O. Ramey, Daniel E. (Amanda) Ramey, Dorothy Thomas, Nathanal Thomas, and Adrian Valdez; great-grandchildren, Danielle N. Ramey and Taylor M. Ramey; siblings, Joe (Kay) Collins, Jack (Sylvia) Collins, Vic (Dottie) Thomas, and Brenda (Mark) Hoelsher.

Rite of Committal and Interment with military honors will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
