Abel Lonnie Baca

Abel Lonnie Baca passed away on February 6, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born on March 6, 1938 to Vicente and Marcelina Baca in Las Animas, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Baca; parents, Vicenta and Marcelina Baca; brothers, Estevan, Rocky, and Simon Cardenas.

Abel is survived by his son, Dominic Miller from Derby, Kansas; sister, Mary Margaret Rodriguez from Grand Junction, Colorado; sister-in-law, Alicia (Lino) Rodriguez; step-son, Allen Edward Roberts from Corpus Christi, TX; step-daughters, Mary Margart (Armando) Garza and Betsy (Greg) Fontenella from San Antonio, Texas; step-grandchildren, Mykala Roberts, Tiffany Giossi, D.J. Silva, Cesar Salinas, and Alejandro (Ashley) Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.; where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Robstown Memorial Park.
