Abelardo Luna

Abelardo Luna of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 74. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Luna, Sr. and Cecilia Vidavra; brothers, Luis Luna Jr. and Juan Jose Luna; sister, Elvira Rodriguez; and half-sister, Juanita Vidaurri.

Left behind to cherish Abelardo’s memories are his wife, Julia O. Luna; sister, Amelia (Juan) Bernal; brother, Albert Luna; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:00 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Those with the honor of being a pallbearer are as follows: Randy Felan, Ronnie Felan, Jose Felan, Roland Luna Jr., Eric Lott, and Santos Ocaña.
