Adan Hernandez, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2026, in Corpus Christi at the age of 62. He was born on September 22, 1964, in Corpus Christi, and remained deeply connected throughout his life to the place he called home and to the people he loved.

Adan found joy in the simple moments that made life meaningful. He loved fishing and enjoyed watching sports with his cousins, especially the laughter, excitement, and time spent together. A devoted Astros fan, he treasured being surrounded by family and looked forward to the gatherings where everyone could come together, share stories, laugh, and make memories. Adan also had a special love for animals, especially his pets, who held a special place in his heart and brought him so much happiness and companionship. Above all, Adan loved his family and his wife, Sandra. His family was his greatest source of happiness, and the love he had for them was at the very heart of the life he lived.

His wife, Sandra, would especially like Adan to be remembered for his smile. No matter what life brought his way, he was always smiling. That smile reflected the warmth, love, and joy he carried with him and shared with the people around him. It is one of the many things his family will hold close and remember with love.

Adan is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Sandra Hernandez, and his daughter, Amanda Bliss. He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, Petra Duhart, Helen Torres, and Maria Hernandez and Romaldo; his numerous nieces and nephews; his cousin, Christina Guerrero and Mario; Rose Hernandez, Israel Hernandez, and Carlos Hernandez and Dora; and his sister-in-law, Janie Hernandez. Each of them will carry forward the warmth of Adan’s presence and the many cherished memories they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Ramona Hernandez; and his brothers, Joe Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, and Adrian Hernandez.

Adan’s life was rooted in love for his family, loyalty to those closest to him, and the happiness he found in being surrounded by the people he cared for most. His kind heart, devotion to his family, and unforgettable smile will remain a lasting part of the lives of all who knew him.

Though he is deeply missed, Adan’s memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly and through the countless memories, moments, laughter, and love he leaves behind.
