Adan Ramirez

Adan Ramirez passed away on May 19, 2021 at the age of 67.  He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1972; “Once a Buc Always a Buc”.  Adan loved football; especially the Dallas Cowboys, watching boxing, and bar-b-quing with his family and friends.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Areopagita Ramirez; brothers, Steve Ramirez, Ray Ramirez, and Joe David Ramirez; and infant twin sister, Eva Ramirez.

Adan is survived by his children, Adan (Angelina) Ramirez Jr, Christina (David) Ramirez, Jamie (Ricky) Chavez, and Rocky (Sarah) Ramirez; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Benavides, Mary Lou (Manuel) Olivo, Linda (Wilbert) Russell, and Carlos (Linda) Ramirez; the mother of his children, Diana Ramirez Garcia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 9:30 AM to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rite of Committal and Interment following at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
