Adan Trevino, Sr.

Adan Trevino, Sr., born to Vicente and Clementina Trevino on August 15, 1951 in San Diego, TX, passed away on January 21, 2019 at the age of 67. Adan loved to play bingo and enjoyed his breakfast tacos. He was friendly, funny, and outgoing. He loved softball, fishing, and Freer Buckaroos. Adan was loved by everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Ercilia Trevino; son, Abraham Trevino; grandparents, Richard and Josephina Gonzalez; and sister, Maria Trevino Narvaiz, along with her husband, Juan Narvaiz, Sr.

Adan is survived by his sons, Adan Trevino, Jr. (Rose) and Adrian Trevino (Linda); stepson, Francisco Acevedo (Kim); stepdaughter, BeBe Martinez (Juan); brothers, Juan Trevino (Susie), Valentin Trevino (Alma), and Arlie Trevino (Yolanda); aunts dear to his heart, Rebecca Arredondo (Julio) and Eulalia “Laya” Carrillo (Augrelio); uncle, Richard “Dick” Gonzalez (Maggie); aunt, Dalia Bazan (Martin Martinez); nieces, Silda Arredondo (Guadalupe) and Frances Delucio (Jose); numerous grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers, JC Trevino, David Sanchez, Bryan Trevino, Lupe Leal, Marcos Acevedo, and Eric Lee Leal. Honorary Pallbearers, Abe Trevino, Luis Miguel Solis, and Khloe T. Trevino.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St. Alice, TX; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home Friday, January 25, 2019, at 10:00 AM to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Freer, TX where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Hahl Cemetery in Freer, TX.
