Adolfo G. "Bobby" Ayala, Sr.

Adolfo G. "Bobby" Ayala, Sr. passed away on January 31, 2019 at the age of 76. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Adolfo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was deeply loved by his family and friends; and will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

Adolfo is preceded in death by his wife, Celia Vasquez Ayala; sisters, Otilia Garcia, Eudelia Ayala, Arsenia Martinez, Aurora Hernandez, Elisa Cantu, and Guadalupe Zamudio; along with his brothers, Joe Luis Ayala and Luis Ayala.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his children Celia “Sally” Ayala (John Edward) Galvan, Adolfo G. Ayala, Jr., Ignacio V. (Linda) Ayala, and Alyssa Deann Ayala; siblings, Janie (Carl) Burrell, Mary Susie (Mike) Maness, Celia Lara, Margie Mendez, Eduviges Aldrighetti, Tomas (Chavela) Ayala, and Manuel (Isabel) Ayala; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home chapel at 12:30 PM to Robstown Memorial Park for a Rite of Committal and Interment at 1:00PM.
