Agustine Hughes Garcia

Augustine Hughes Garcia, 79, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away peacefully on July 9, 2017 at home. He was born on May 28, 1938 in San Diego, TX to Gumecindo and Victoria Garcia. He lived most of his life in Corpus Christi, TX. Augustine was a passionate man who enjoyed his family and proud of his daughter, Maria Luisa Pedraza and his son, Augustine Garcia, Jr. He is also survived by his wife, Eloida L. Garcia and grandkids, Jennifer Cansino, Victor Casas, III, John Eric Hebert, Vanessa Irene Hebert, Ann Jeannette Sivilay and Aaron Vincent Garcia, along with six great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Irene Hebert and his parents.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5 pm to 9pm; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10am. Funeral cortege will depart for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
