Albert R. Lara

Albert R. Lara passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at the age of 77. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping and boxing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be truly missed by all who loved him. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Alberto and Anita Lara; sister Concepcion Rangel. Albert is survived by his wife, Dana Sue Lara; former wife, Janie Lara; sons, John (Connie) Lara, and Daniel (Cindy) Lara; daughters, Belinda (Chris) Cole, and Anna Marie Lara; sister, Mary Lilly James; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, from 12pm - 3pm; with a Prayer Service at 3pm.
