Alberto Mireles, a cherished soul known for his loving, kind, and gentle nature, passed away on May 17, 2024, just one day shy of his 64th birthday. Born on May 18, 1960, in Harlingen, Texas, Alberto lived a life rich in love, laughter, and shared moments with those he held dear. Alberto will be fondly remembered for his unwavering support and dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his mother, Rosa Mireles, who was blessed with his presence for many years. His sister, San Juana Garcia, will miss the comfort and joy that only a brother like Alberto could provide. Betty Castillo, his significant other, will cherish the countless memories they created together. His children, Krystal Sanchez (married to Steven), Amanda Mireles, and Marcus Mireles, will carry forward the values and lessons their father instilled in them. Alberto's influence will also live on in his niece, Ana Lisa Morales, and nephew, Abel Luis Morales Jr., who looked up to him with great admiration. Alberto's passion for life was evident in his love for football; he was an ardent supporter of both the Longhorns and the Cardinals. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and many will recall the spirited conversations and celebrations that football season brought. He also found great joy in the game of bingo and the camaraderie it fostered among friends and family. One of Alberto's favorite retreats was spending time at the ranch with his compadre Mark Sanchez. There, amidst the tranquility of nature, Alberto found peace and contentment. His presence at the ranch, often marked by laughter and storytelling, will be deeply missed. Alberto's journey through life was marked by the love he shared and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. His gentle spirit and warm heart touched many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. Alberto Mireles's life will be celebrated in Corpus Christi, Texas, the place where he spent his final moments. As the sun sets on a life well-lived, Alberto's spirit will forever be a guiding light for his beloved family and friends.
