Alfred M. Reyna

Alfred M. Reyna, age 84, passed away on January 19, 2013, with his family by his side. Alfred was a WWII Veteran; he retired from Corn Products after working for them for over 30 years and from Valero after 12 years. He was known as Grandpa to all, and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Reyna, Irene Reyna; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by the mother of his children, Micaela M. Reyna; daughters, Micaela (Rene) Lopez, Monica (Robert) Ruiz; sons, Alfred (Elizabeth) Reyna Jr., Albert (Kathy) Reyna, Arnold Reyna; sisters, Irene Canales, Gloria Reyna; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Paulita Rivas; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 23, 2013; interment to follow at Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery.
