Alfredo F. Hughes

Alfredo F. Hughes, age 91, passed away July 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa L. Hughes; parents, Alfredo Hughes, Sr. and Lorenza Flores of San Diego, TX; sons, Carlos Hughes, and Alfredo Hughes, Jr. Alfredo leaves behind his loving children, Diana L. Hughes, Adela Trejo, Armando (Maria) Hughes, Richard A. Hughes; 8 grandchildren, Claudine (Sam) Saenz, Eric (Julie) Hughes, Armando (Sandra) Hughes, Jr., Venessa Denise Hughes, Carlos (Diane) Hughes, Jr., Laura Hughes, Hayden A. Hughes, Holden M. Hughes; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Diana A. Hughes, Irma Hughes; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front Street, Alice, TX; from 4 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm, that same evening. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 24, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:00 am; burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
