Alicia F. Saldaña

Alicia F. Saldaña, affectionately known as Alice, passed away on August 19, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on August 10, 1938, Alice touched the lives of many through her unwavering love and kindness. Throughout her life, she was a devoted family member and a friend to all who met her.

Alice had a deep passion for dogs, music, and, most importantly, the time spent with her family, creating memories that will be cherished forever. She was known for her warm spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Humberto Saldaña; her daughter, Olga Diaz; grandchildren, Alexander Ray Saldaña, Lisa Marie Garza, Noe Garza III, and Mark Anthony Garza; and great-grandchildren, Luke Garza, Zoey Garza and Tinley Garza. The love and bond shared among her family will continue to keep her vibrant spirit alive.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Juanita Fuertes; her son, Robert Valdez; and her daughter, Cynthia Jean Harold. Their memories will be honored and remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

The memory of Alicia F. Saldaña will be celebrated with a visitation on September 3, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A Holy Rosary will follow at the same location at 12:30 PM. She will rest peacefully at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, with interment to take place at 2:00 PM that same day.

Alice's legacy of love and devotion will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
