Alicia S. Salinas

Alicia S. Salinas age 78 passed away on July 15, 2015. Alicia was a loving mother, and an accomplished floral designer and seamstress. She will be dearly missed. Alicia was born on September 2, 1936 in Hargill, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenza Lopez Salinas, and Emilio Salinas; 8 siblings, Gilberto Salinas, Juan L. Salinas, Oswaldo L. Salinas, Emilio L. Salinas II, Leticia Reyes, Lydia Lemos, Estella Flores, and Mary Jessie Salinas. She is survived by her daughter, Lucia S. Lugo and niece whom she helped raise, Sylvia (Robert) Mondragon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic church on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10 am; burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
