Alma Cantu

Alma Cantu passed away on February 22, 2021 at the age of 73.  She loved music, dancing, swimming, and most of all spending time with family and friends.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Natividad and Juanita Cantu; twin brother, Ruben Cantu; and brother, Rene Cantu.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Martha Rios (Bernardino Jimenez); sons, Gilberto (Nelda) Rios Jr. and Daniel (Sarah) Rios; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in our chapel.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
