Alma Castañeda

Alma Castañeda passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 71. She was born on November 1, 1949 to Refugio and Syria Bayardo in Carrizo Springs, TX. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.

Alma is survived by her family; husband of 52 years, Roberto Castañeda; children, Sylvia Jean (Tomas) Rodriguez, Diana Michelle (James Jr) Price, Robert (Barbara Molina) Castañeda Jr, Liza Ann (Eusebio Jr) Rodriguez, Adam Antonio Castañeda, Mary Magdalene (Alfredo) Martinez, and Veronica Raquel Castañeda; sister, Rosalinda Pajak; grandchildren, Raven, Robert Cruz, Savannah, Loretta, Marcus, Sarah, Victoria, Alfredo Jr, Shyanne, Joseph, Eusebio III, Tristan, Siboney, Katharine, Luke, Scarlett, Alexandria, and Adam Isaiah; and great-grandchildren, Aleena, Jeremiah, and Artemis.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 9:00 AM for Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. Rite of Burial and Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
