Alma Linda Ruiz

Alma Linda Ruiz passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 65. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 7, 1956, to Carolina Bustinsa and Antonio Serrano, Jr.

Alma was very caring and loving to all who would come her way. She was always there for her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, Carolina Bustinsa and Antonio Serrano, Jr.; stepdaughter, Bernadette Ruiz; and brother, Onecimo “chito” Cruz.

Alma leaves her loving memories to her beloved husband of 45 years, Alberto Ruiz Jr.; sister, Martha Martinez; children, Abigail Ruiz, Ruby Ann Ruiz (Kristopher Cortinas), Trinidad “Trini” Ruiz, and Albert Ruiz III; step daughters, Patsy Sanchez (Anthony) and Elizabeth Rodriguez(Drew). She is also survived by grandchildren, John Commisky (Briana Commisky), Jaydon Martinez, Joel David Cortinas, Aubree Nicole Cortinas, Autumn Angel Ford-Ruiz, Selean Dyani Rodriguez, Abram Rodriguez, and numerous other grand kids.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. Services will conclude in the chapel.
