Angelita Gutierrez

Angelita Gutierrez, age 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1932, to Manuel and Guadalupe Garza in Taft, Texas.

Angelita is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Gutierrez, and her son-in-law, Robert William Miller.

Angelita leaves her loving memories to her son, Guadalupe G. Gutierrez (Josephine Yvette Pena Gutierrez); her daughter, Lucy Miller; her grandchildren, Lori Denise Gutierrez (Ida), Robert Joseph Miller (Lauren Ashley Leal), Christopher William Miller (Betsy Miller), and Lyndi DeVon Gutierrez (Michael Fuentes); her great-grandchildren, Mason Xavier Miller, Jordan Michael Fuentes, Braden William Miller, Madison Fuentes, Eric Anthony Rose, Zoey Rose Sanchez, Kylie Rose Molina, Joshua Matthew Chapa, Victoria Katherine Chapa, Oaklynn Armelle Chapa, Xavier Jose Robles, and Arabella Rose Sanchez; her sisters, Janie Soliz, Connie Rickman, Martha Ortiz, and Amelia C. Garza; her brother, Manuel Garza II; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church followed by the Rite of Committal and Interment at Seaside Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending services at this facility.
