Angelita "Angie" Avalos Vella

Angelita "Angie" Avalos Vella, age 67, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was a loving and giving mother, grandmother, and sister. Angie loved to play bingo, but her passion was spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Beatrice Avalos; brother, Pablo Avalos; sister, Maria Del Carmen Avalos; and son-in-law, Jesse Trece Casso. Angie leaves behind her lifetime love, Tomas Musquiz; children, Cynthia Vargas, Carmen V. Casso, Antonio Vargas Jr.; grandchildren, Danielle Ramirez, Alexander Ramirez, Angie R. (Chris) Peña, Stephanie Ramirez; sisters, Beatrice (Jesus) Salinas, Janie (Tony) Martinez, Yolanda (Elias) Iglesias; and numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 am; burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
