Anita Uribe Garcia

Anita U. Garcia passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 75. She will be dearly missed by her family and her friends.

Anita’s hobbies consisted of making sure she didn't miss a family function, reading her bible, and attending church. She loved telling stories and watching movies. Anita found the most joy spending time with and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Eulogio Garcia; parents, Euquerio Uribe and Matilde Uribe; her brothers, Hilario and A.D Uribe; son, Steven “Zofo” Garcia; grandson, Samuel “Samson” Garcia; and nephew, Phillip Uribe.

Left to cherish Anita’s memory are her daughter, Eliza (AB) Jimenez; son, Samuel (Elaine) Garcia; nephews, Hilario (Letty) Uribe and Hilberto Andres David (Terry) Uribe; her nieces, Katherine Valdez Uribe and Cynthia Sanchez; her nine grandchildren, Eliseo Jimenez, Michael Jimenez, Ginobili Jimenez, Steven Garcia, Jacob Gonzales, Andrew Rodriguez, Tina Garcia, Leanna Jimenez, and Arianna Jimenez; three great-grandchildren, Trey Steven Garcia, Marky Hernandez, and Zendaya Martinez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home,120 E. Front St Alice, TX, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Church of the Overcomer, followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at New Collins Cemetery.
