Antonio Castro Flores Jr.

Antonio Castro Flores Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 73. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Antonio is preceded in death by his mother, Isabelle Guerra Flores; his beloved wife, Consuelo Elva Joslin Flores; his daughter, Grace Yvette Flores Solis; and his sister, Linda Gutierrez Guerra.

Left behind to cherish Antonio’s memories are his daughters, Imelda Flores, Nelda Flores Plocek, Melva Flores, and Tracy Flores (Luiz) Cabrera; his son, Antonio “Sonny” (Melissa) Flores; his grandchildren, David Mendez, Sarah Plocek, Michael Mendez, Jake Flores, Anthony Pizano, Antonio Flores, Jesse Cabrera, Nicholas Flores, and Madison Flores; his sisters, Janie Gutierrez (Abungio) Guerra, Elida Gutierrez (Hector) Sanchez, and Alicia Gutierrez (Anthony) Garza; his two dogs, Shadow and Diesel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Chapel Service to be held at 1:30 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 2:00 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
