Apolonario Lopez Sr.

Apolonario Lopez, Sr., born February 9, 1938 to Juan Cruz Lopez and Gregoria Perez Lopez, passed away in his home on April 10, 2018 at the age of 80.

Apolonario is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Gregoria Lopez; wife Rosa Elena Lopez; two sons Apolonario Lopez, Jr. and Ricky Lopez; and his brother, Marcario Lopez.

Survivors left to cherish his memories are his two sons: Carlos Rene Lopez, and Victor Lopez (Sherry); one sister; Alvida Alaniz; two brothers; Filberto Lopez, and Guadalupe Lopez.

Apolonario is also survived by wonderful grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 5 to 9 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 2:30 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018 to Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 PM. Rite of Comital and Interment will follow at Casa Blanca Cemetery.
