Armando Everett

Armando Everett, a compassionate and generous soul, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and co-workers, on June 16, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on October 17, 1940, in San Diego, Texas, Armando was a loving son to Miguel and Faustina Everett, and a cherished brother to Olga Everett Lopez, Umbelina E. Cantu, Olivero Everett, Sr., Oran R. Everett, Sr., and Orel Everett, Sr., all of whom preceded him in death. Armando dedicated several years to working for the CCISD cafeteria department at Roy Miller High School, where he displayed an unwavering passion for providing for his community and nurturing the minds and spirits of the next generation. As a loyal and spirited Dallas Cowboys fan, he never missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. Armando deeply enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, frequently indulging in delicious Mexican food at local restaurants and proudly watching his nephews play baseball. He was a highly beloved uncle and brother-in-law who never hesitated to share laughter and stories that brought his family closer together. Armando will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his surviving sisters-in-law, Adelita V. Everett and Guadalupe Everett, and his numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who were blessed to share in his warmth, wisdom, and love. With his kind and gentle spirit, Armando Everett touched the hearts of all who knew him, leaving an unforgettable legacy that will be cherished for generations to come.

Armando’s family will receive condolences on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara Port Ave; with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM that morning. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at San Diego Cemetery, San Diego, Texas.
