Arnold H. Saavedra

Arnold H. Saavedra passed away on July 14, 2017 at the age of 55. He was a loving father and husband who always did the best he could for his wife and children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arturo H. Saavedra; sister, Peggy Saavedra Greer; brother, Steven K. Saavedra

Arnold is survived by his wife, Irma E. Saavedra; children, Alvito E. (Irma) Saavedra, Reynaldo A. (Veronica) Saavedra, Arnold H. (MaryAnn) Saavedra, Jr., and Christina (Joshua) Rodriguez; mother, Ruth C. Saavedra; siblings, Cindy Rivera (Richard), Norma E. Saavedra (Orestes), and Artie Saavedra (Annette) from Oakland, CA;14 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 5 to 9 in the evening; where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 8:30am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
