Arnulfo Ponce Jr., a father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on June 3, 1965, and dedicated much of his life to both his career and his passions.
Arnulfo devoted 22 years of his career to the CCAD, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He retired in July 2025, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and service to his workplace and colleagues. Prior to his tenure at CCAD, Arnulfo proudly served in the Navy for 10 years, exemplifying a spirit of courage and dedication to his country.
An individual with a zest for life, Arnulfo had many hobbies and interests that spoke to his vibrant personality. He enjoyed playing golf, often seen teeing off and enjoying time with friends on the course. His spirit of giving back shone through in his volunteer work at the local shelter, where he made a meaningful impact in the community. In addition to his volunteer work, Arnulfo had a profound love for traveling, seizing every opportunity to explore new places and cultures. A true social butterfly, he cherished the company of others and forged lasting relationships wherever he went.
Arnulfo is survived by his daughter, Megan Ponce (Mary Ponce); and his siblings, Richard Ponce, Letty Gonzalez (Albert), Norma Ponce, David Ponce, and Michael Ponce. He also leaves behind many cherished nephews and nieces who will carry forward his legacy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo Ponce Sr. and Guadalupe R Ponce, who provided him with a strong foundation of love and values that he passed on to his own family.
Arnulfo Ponce Jr. will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life, his generous spirit, and the deep connections he forged throughout his lifetime. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
