Our beloved Arnulfo “Arnie” Salazar passed into eternal life on May 9, 2021 surrounded by his loving family; after a short battle with cancer at the young age of 58. Arnie was born to Antonio and Anita Salazar in Mathis, Texas but resided in Alice, Texas most of his life.

Arnie had a big heart and was always ready to help anybody in need and did it with such kindness and generosity.  He enjoyed listening to music and loved to Bar-B-Que with family and friends. Arnie served in the United States Army and graduated from Del Mar College with an accounting degree.  Arnie was the proud business owner of Precision Heating and Air-Conditioning.

Arnulfo was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Salazar.

He is survived by his fiancée, Gloria Lopez; his father, Antonio Salazar; sons, Rene (Nora) Soliz and Anthony Salazar; daughter, Teresa Hernandez; sisters, Sylvia (Ramiro) Gonzalez and Aida (Richard) Taylor; five (5) granddaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews,  extended family, and dear friends.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
