Arthur Gaytan

Arthur Gaytan passed away on December 11, 2018 at the age of 75. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Arthur was deeply loved by his family and friends; and will be dearly missed by all whom loved him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Elena Garcia Gaytan; sons, Arturo Gaytan and Arnoldo Gaytan.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Lydia Gaytan, Virginia Marie Gaytan, Veronica (Richard) Gaytan Wendland, and Alma Linda Villarreal; grandchildren, Rebecca (Michael) Hill, Benjamin Gaytan, Beatrice Gaytan, and Arnold Gaytan, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Michael Hill, Jr., Isaiah Christian Hill, Nathaniel Rudy Hill, Faith Angelein Hill, Selene Elizabeth Hill, and Miguel Angel Gaytan; 6 siblings; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 12:30 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

Honoring him as Pall Bearers are Michael Hill, Sr., Benjamin Gaytan, Arnold Gaytan, Jr., Isaiah Christian Hill, Nathaniel Rudy Hill, and Miguel Angel Gaytan.
