Aurora "Cata" G. Longoria

Aurora G. "Cata" Longoria, age 70, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013. She was born July 25, 1942, in Beeville, Texas. Cata was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She will be remembered for her love for Bingo, Slot Machines, and word searches; but her passion was cooking for her family. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her son, Joe Henry Longoria; parents, Rosendo Garcia Sr., Lillie "Lala" Garcia; and brother, Alfredo Garcia. Cata leaves behind to cherish in her memories her loving children, Bobby Longoria, Louis "Tiny" (Anna) Longoria; brothers, Rosendo (Ina) Garcia Jr., Danny (Ana) Garcia; grandchildren, Leticia (Charlie) Salinas, Leslie Longoria; great-grandchildren, Arianna Salinas, Chuckie Salinas; nephews and nieces, Lisa Garcia, Lori Moreno, Loni Rubin, Danny Ray Garcia, Lilly Ann Garcia and Ruben Garcia. Pallbearers: Danny Ray Garcia, Charlie Salinas, Jerry Chavarria, Bobby Treviño, Jerry Treviño, and Indio Del Rosario. Honorary Pallbearers: Ruben Garcia, Conner Moreno, Matthew Solis, Tanner Moreno, Mike Munoz, and Genaro "Naro" Trevino. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Beeville, Texas from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church; interment to follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery II. Services are under the direction of Bobby Treviño and staff of Treviño Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
