Azucena G Briseño

Azucena G. Briseño passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 79. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro Garcia Sr. and Refugia Salinas Garcia; husband, Guadalupe Briseño Sr.; brother, Alfredo Garcia; and sister, Yolanda Oliveira.

Azucena is survived by her children, Rebecca Briseño and Guadalupe Briseño Jr.; siblings, Ramiro (Diana) Garcia Jr. and Lucilla Arango; grandchildren, Omar (Pearl) Briseño and Meghan Briseño; two great-grandchildren, Roman Valor Briseño and Lucas Rex Briseño; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM that evening. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 9:30 AM at Trevino Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 10:00 AM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services at this facility.
