Baudelia H. Garcia

Baudelia H. Garcia passed away on February 23, 2018 at the age of 90. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband Porfirio Garcia, Jr.; son, Ruben Garcia; sisters, Eloise Zamora, Ernestina Gomez, Simona Mayorga, Evangeline Herrera; brother, Inocencio Herrera.

Baudelia was survived by her sons, Joe Garcia (Olga) from Mathis, TX; Javier Garcia (Patricia) from San Antonio, TX; daughters, Sylvia Garcia from Corpus Christi, TX and Diana Garcia from San Antonio, TX; step-son, Richard Garcia (Olga) from San Antonio, TX; brother, Joe Herrera from Corpus Christi, TX; sisters, Eva Durbin from Corpus Christi, TX, and Francis Lopez from San Antonio, TX; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Nathan Rodriguez, Bobby Brooks, Michael Chavez, Frank Chavez, Jr., Mathew Chavez and Michael Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be David Garcia and Carlos Robles-Garcia.

The family will be receiving condolences from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, February 26, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port; where a vigil for the deceased and a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 to St. Patrick Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am. Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
