Beatrice Chacon

Beatrice Chacon passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at the age of 88. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Beatrice will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Chacon; parents, Abraham and Eloisa Garcia; siblings, Abraham Garcia, II, Elvira Salazar, Anselma Hernandez, and Leonora Salazar.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Diana (Isidro) Zamora; granddaughters, Donna (Rene Vasquez) Zamora, Gina (Arnold) Rivera, and Melissa Saldaña; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Leal and Theodora Flores; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 15, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Holy Family Catholic Church. A funeral cortege will depart the church at 12:30 PM to Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for a Rite of Committal and Interment.
