Belia Lerma

Belia Lerma went to rest with her creator, where she is in peace in heaven, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the age of 66. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, making picture collages, and spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Reynaldo Garcia.

Belia is survived by her husband Carlos V. Lerma; daughters, Cynthia A. (Alfonso) Armendariz, Deborah (Alonzo) Trevino, Judy Ponce Lerma, and Natalie (Domingo) Mejia; sons, Domingo Luera and Carlos Lerma, Jr.; mother, Lorenza Garcia; sister, Angie Luna; brothers, Ricardo (Candy) Garcia and Reynaldo (Sarah) Garcia, Jr.; 29 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port; where a prayer service will be held at 7pm. Cremation will follow.
