Ben Castillo, Jr.

Ben Castillo, Jr passed away on May 13, 2018 at the age of 91. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Ben Castillo, III., Mario A. Castillo, and Jerald V. Castillo; son-in-law, Ernest Sanchez; parents, Ben Sr., and Gertrudis Castillo; step-mother, Maria De Jesus; siblings, Maria Villarreal and Johnny Castillo; brothers-in-law, Lupe Villarreal and Alberto Ybarra;

Ben is survived by wife, Amelia Venezuela Castillo; daughters, Nelda Sanchez, Maria B. Gonzales, and Sylvia A. (Abel) Olivarez; siblings, Adelina (Ernest) Maese, Esther Ybarra, Becky (Juventino) Ramirez, Jimmy (Amy) Castillo, Vangie (Mando) Diaz, Tina Castillo Armijo, Dina (David) Garza, Mary Alice Lozano, Trini (Eva) Castillo, and Robert (Rosie) Castillo; numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port.; with a chapel service at 11:30 am. Rite of Committal and Entombment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
