Benito Martinez, Jr.

Benito Martinez Jr., age 59, passed away on February 13, 2013. He will always be remembered as a funny, giving caring, thoughtful and loving father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He will be dearly missed He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Laura Saenz; three children, Rosemary (John) Evans, Margarita Martinez (Scott Wade), and Rene Martinez; step-son, Rene Saenz; mother, Margarita Blanco; sisters and brothers, Ray, Rose, Janie, Esmeralda, Angie, Martina, Andres, Mark, Ralph, Diana, Roxanne; grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Justin Wade, Aaron Evans, Justine Wade, Rene E. Martinez Jr., and Frances Martinez, of Corpus Christi, and Robstown, Texas. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:00 pm. Cremation will follow. Services will conclude with a dove release.
