Bertha Perez Pompa

Bertha Perez Pompa, age 77, passed away on July 26, 2016. Bertha was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a hairdresser for 45 years. Bertha was also a business woman. She owned several nursing home beauty salons. Bertha will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Maria Perez; daughter, Cynthia Yvonne Pompa Narvaez; brother-in-law, Arnold Villarreal; brothers, Jesse Perez, Rene Perez, and Rudy Perez. Bertha leaves behind her loving husband of over 60 years, Pete Pompa, Jr.; daughter, Veronica Lea Pompa; sons, Pete (Michelle) Pompa, III, Michael (Dalia) Pompa; sisters, Yolanda (Fred) Garza, Norma Villarreal; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 9 am to 12 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11 am. Cremation will follow.
