Brenda Y. Ridyolph

Brenda Yvonne Ridyolph of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 60. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed. Brenda was a very strong, giving, and loving woman. She loved her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert B. and Charlene Powell; sisters, Charles Etta Webb, Viola Annie Harris, and Eula V. Ware; and granddaughter, Vandanea Duhart.

Brenda is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Johnny Ridyolph; her three sons; Victor Duhart, Jr.; Vernon Duhart (LaCrystal), and Vandale Duhart; grandchildren, Victor III, Trey, Innvie, Miriam, Kiya, Vandale Jr., Vandiesal, Vandrew, Vantoine, Jaycean, Charlene Hart, Shamar, Vanity, D'Anthony, and Maesyn Duhart; sisters, Lillian Fowler, Nettie Roland “Nippy”,  Versie Schockley “Tiny”, Patricia Powell “Mike”, Jacqueline Powell “Kay Kay”, Eddie Mae Powell “Dirt”, and Gwendolyn Smith “Thont”; brothers, Aurthur Powell “Jabo”, Kenneth Powell “Ken Ken”, and Andrew Powell “Buddy”; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Talk beginning at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Calvary First Baptist Church, 2906 Carver Dr. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
