Carl L Williams

Carl Leonard Williams, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas; the same city where he was born on August 6, 1954. He was 68 years old. Carl was the son of the late Buddy Miles and Flossie Mae Wilson. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Anthony Williams.

Carl is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Williams; stepchildren, Michael Plummer and Tanika Plummer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Virgie Sue Williams, Marguerite Thornton (Charles), Donna Kay Booker, Everett Craig Williams (Claudia), Cecil Chris Williams (Kelly), and Jimmie Booker; his aunt, Edna Beaty; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Carl's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the love he shared with his family and friends. As we remember Carl Leonard Williams, let us celebrate his life and the lasting impact he had on those around him. Carl's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. They find comfort in knowing that Carl's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire and guide them in the days and years to come.

A Celebration of Life honoring Carl will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Westhaven Baptist Church, 1902 Cliff Maus Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas. Services will conclude that same day.
