Carmen Barraza

Carmen Barraza passed away on January 20, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born on December 31, 1934 in Taft, Texas to Jose and Antonia Chavez. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alodio Barraza. Carmen is survived by her sons, Tomas C. Barraza, Alodio Barraza, Jr.; brother, Ernest G. Chavez; sister, San Juanita Yglesias, Maria Lazo; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends and family from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church with inurnment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
