Carmen Garcia Garza

Carmen Garcia Garza, age 69, passed away on July 12, 2016. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing bingo with her mom, watching her nephews play football and baseball, and spending holidays with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo B. and Francisca G. Garza. Carmen is survived by her sister, Alma (Dennis) Uribe; brother, Alfredo G. (Aurora Sandoval) Garza, Jr.; sister-in-law, Loretta (the late Rene G.) Garza; nephews, Dennis G. (Marivel) Uribe, Jr., Ray Allen (Rebecca) Uribe, Stephen Michael (Elisa) Uribe, and Christopher Andrew (Laura) Uribe; nieces, Lesley (Brett) Lieberman and Natalie Nicole (Sean) Johnson; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 4 pm to 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St.; with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
