Carol Cruz

Carrie (Carol) Cruz (nee Krussow), 63, left this earth to spend eternity with God, on Monday, September 3rd, 2012, at her residence in Dickinson, TX. Carol (as she was known), was the 2nd oldest of 7 children born in Corpus Christi to the late Donald and Francesca Krussow. Two of her siblings, Donald and Victor Krussow, preceded her in death. Carol was a devout Catholic who enjoyed life to the fullest. For Carol, life was a continuous adventure. She loved to dance, spend time with friends and had an absolute passion for fishing. She was blessed to be the mother of 6 children, 1 of whom, daughter Marcella Dinn, preceded her in death; Christopher Dinn, Donald Dinn, Michelle Montemayor, Carlos Montemayor and Barbara Gonzales, who lovingly cared for her mother until her death. Carol leaves to cherish the many memories she's left: Siblings, Helen Hernandez (Joe), Robert Krussow, Barbara Sanchez (Elias), and Vicente Krussow; Her Children: Christopher, Donald, Michele, Carlos and Barbara; 15 Grandchildren (3 of whom she lived with- Jovoney Gonzales, Gilbert and Gabriel Esparza); 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family will be receiving friends Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port, from 3 to 9 pm; with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. A Chapel Service will be held Friday, September 7, 2012, at 10:30 am at Treviño Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
