With deep respect and loving memory, we announce the passing of Catalina R. Landeros, who departed from this life on July 11, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 14, 1936, Catalina’s life was a beacon of faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones and community.
Catalina’s journey was marked by her profound dedication as a Pastor. Through her years of service, she guided many with wisdom, kindness, and integrity. Her calling was not only a vocation but a true reflection of her character—her steadfast faith shaped the lives she touched and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Church played a central role in Catalina’s life. She truly loved attending services, embracing her community and uplifting those around her through fellowship and prayer. Her spiritual warmth radiated, drawing friends and family together and offering solace to many in moments of need.
Above all, Catalina cherished her family. Her love was all-encompassing, nurturing each relationship with gentle care. Those who survive her will carry forward her memory and the lessons she imparted. Catalina is lovingly remembered by her children, Esmeralda Cervantes, Consuelo Landeros, Felomino Rodriguez, and Mario Landeros; her 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Each carries a piece of her spirit and enduring devotion.
She now reunites in peace with her beloved husband, Jose Landeros, and their children, Mary Landeros, Sandra Landeros, and Joe Landeros, who preceded her in passing.
Catalina’s legacy of faith, love, and family devotion remains a guiding light for all who shared in her journey. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but the memory of her gentle strength and grace endures in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Catalina’s family and friends are invited to offer their condolences on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave, from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. A Prayer Service will begin at 12:30 PM followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at 2:30 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Park where Catalina will be laid to rest.
