Celsa Diaz

Celsa Diaz passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 94.  She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend.  Celsa enjoyed spending time with her family; she was a devout catholic, a lady of strong faith, and she recited the Holy Rosary every day.  She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano and Maria Diaz; siblings, Gerardo Diaz, Natividad Diaz, Juanita Diaz, Marcial Diaz, Bruno Diaz, Sr., Catarino Diaz, and Berta Diaz.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her brother Tomas (Lucinda) Diaz of Katy, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2020, to Christ the King Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Benavides Cemetery in Benavides, TX.

Honoring Celsa as pallbearers are Matt Leighton, Chase Leighton, Louis J. Garcia, Danny Puebla, III., Danny Hernandez, and Marcial Diaz, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers are Bruno Diaz, Jr. and Gerald Diaz.
