Chris Wilson Laurel

Chris Wilson Laurel passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 75.  He was born on February 27, 1945 in Beeville, Texas to Servando and Gertrudes Laurel.  He graduated from Roy Miller High School “Once a Buc Always a Buc”.  He was a member of the Army Reserve.  Chris worked at Koch Refinery as an operator where he retired after 27 years.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Servando Canales Laurel and Gertrudes Wilson Laurel; siblings, Amado Laurel, Ernestina L. Perez, Susana L. Rosas, and Amalia L. Marez.

Chris is survived by his children, Cristobal Laurel, Jr., Samuel Laurel, Carlos (Rebecca) Laurel, and Veronica Laurel; grandchildren, Carlos Laurel, Joshua Laurel, Ariana Laurel, Timothy Laurel, Lucas Laurel, Adrian L. Gonzalez, Jr. and Axel Gonzalez; siblings, Servando (Irene) Laurel, Jr., Rudolfo (Gloria) Laurel, Beatrice Ramos, Anita Laurel, and Aurora Morin; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
