Christopher John Villegas

Christopher John Villegas passed away on June 30, 2018 at the young age of 24. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Christopher was a first-generation college student, a proud Aggie and graduate of Texas A&M College Station, where he earned a degree in International Studies. He began his career as an admissions counselor for Texas State University. Christopher was a family man and loved everyone with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Whitman and uncle Wayne Whitman.

Christopher is survived by his mother, June Whitman-Villegas; father, Bruno Villegas; sisters, Angela, Zaida, and Maya Villegas; brother, Simon Villegas; best friend, Lauren Martinez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port., with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral cortege will depart the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
